Ear Piercing

So, I am thinking about getting 2 more ear piercings, one in my left, one in my right. I have my helix done in my left ear, was toying with the idea of a tragus piercing, but with a CBR. And an industrial/scaffold in my right ear.

I just like the feel on the needle and the piercings...odd.

3 piercings I have are helix, tongue and eyebrow.

What do you guys think about guys with tragus and/or scaffold piercings?

Sorry for derailinmg this thread a little, but how the deuce can I make the hole in my ear seal back up?

I have not had an earring in it for over 10 years now and there still is a hole there and sometimes stuff comes out which smells of stilton.

well it wont seal if its infected and if it smells like cheese it is certainly infected

keep it clean !

or see a doctor and get a strong antiseptic cream or something.

a hot soldering iron normally seal's hole's and kills of any germs.

I've never understood why guys pierce their ears. I know its probably sexist, but I've always viewed it as a girls only thing.

As for piercing eyebrows, lips, tongue, nose, for either gender.... YUCK!!

I don't mind tragus piercings on guys or any ear piercings really. It's only eyebrow piercings I'm not too fond of.

I got this too, hurt way more than my lip.

I'm sure i'll be classed as gay now, because the only reason I got the lip piercing was to suck dick, obviously.

It depends what industry you work in.

If you work in the arts a lot of people won't care.

In all seriousness I find most people don't care, these days. Employers are coming to terms with the fact that kids these days have piercings and tattoos, and they're not all that bothered.

If you are in a client facing role, they are likely to care. I am not talking about working in HMV, but if you are a lawyer, accountant, banker etc then it would not be a good thing!

Maybe you could try cutting yourself instead? Of all the people who I know with tattoos, piercings or both, the majority of regret lies with the piercings (which, luckily, heal themselves up pretty easily) over tattoos. Personally, I consider tattoos to mean more than piercings, and I'm a little disgruntled that they're classed in the same category, but the number of people who have taken out their various piercings and let them close up far outweighs those who have expressed even a doubt that they'll be uncomfortable with their tattoos now or later in their lives.

I'd suggest the upper arm, it's easy to conceal with little more than a t-shirt and I hear that the scars form pretty well.
