Does anyone have a good recommendation for ear plugs?

I've been looking around the interweb but there are so many different types I have no idea which to go for.

I've seen the smart ones that "react" to loud noises, but they're well out of my preferred price range.

I picked up some free foam based ear plugs when I purchased something from a dealer, but I just feel they aren't quite up to scratch.

I thought maybe something like THESE? Does anyone have any experience with them?

I've got the Alpines - can't fault them. Used the green inserts when I was commuting through London, and onto the yellow now I'm mostly on the motorway. They're comfy and do the job.

Ok, so I went with the "Alpine MotoSafe Motorcycle Earplugs" in the end and they arrived yesterday. I tested them out on my commute to work this morning and they work pretty well.

I have an ER-6f with a Scorpion can, so she can scream quite loud at high speed. These ear plugs killed that high level noise but I could still hear someone saying good morning to me when I pulled into the work carpark :)

You get much less of that "head in a fishtank" type feel from them, which I did get with stardard foam ear plugs :)

I use some cheap ones from Halfords - bag of 25 (I think) for about 5 quid, yellow disposable ones, and they work just fine :)

Bought some DIY moulding ones from R&G, but they let in too much noise.

I've been using that kind of thing up until now but when you stop at red lights and have a bit of a chat with the other riders it turns into more of a shouting session :p

I use the E.A.R Soft Fx ones. They're nice and comfortable and cut out a lot of noise.

They're rated highly and it seems that auction site is the best place to go.
