I just sat and watched this movie, all 100 minutes of it. This is one of the most powerful documentaries I have ever watched.

"Earthlings is a documentary aimed at informing others on how humans abuse animals in various exploitations & why it is morally wrong."

Sorry, not the most family friendly of videos - Davey

NOTE - DO NOT WATCH IF YOU ARE SQUEAMISH, VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED

Apologies if this has been posted before.

Do you have a point or anything to add to your initial post? Do you have a view, an opinion, or even any feelings about the thread which you've created?

In short: what do you want from us?

Threads dont always need questions or answers, they are also used to inform others who have perhaps not seen or been made aware of something before.

In short: Nothing.

Ok. I actually found your lack of commentary refreshing, if a bit odd. Normally these types of videos come with paragraphs explaining what we should think so it's unusual to see one posted with no bias (other than the content) in GD.

Stop trying to be a smart arse.. youre failing

Yes, it's quite a powerful film to watch. I dread to think of the suffering that goes on around the world, and no doubt this film is only the tip of the iceberg.

If you're in the mood for some other 'related' topics, Alan Watt has some very interesting videos on the tube.

Bad **** happens. The world is a nasty place, nothing I can do to stop it so I'd rather not dwell on it ta.

I'd rather do something about how humans treat humans first rather than save animals.

I've removed the link to the video as it's not the most family friendly of films to watch. However, I'll leave the thread so people can continue to discuss as needed. I'm sure the video will be easily findable for those who want to watch it.

I've just been watching this. It seems that slaughterhouses are where all the sick ****s head for to get their kicks.

Definitely an eye opener and there's some really harsh footage there, I can't comprehend how some people can have such a complete lack of empathy.

Poor Dophins. T_T

But then people get moaned at for the wall of text...

In GD, nobody wins :D

I don't think it's fair to put a dog in the back of a dumper truck and compress it :(

Yeah that was grimm :(

I don't give a flying **** about animals being killed for food. I do agree they should be looked after within reason (more for out benefit then the animals TBH). So that's a big chunk of the video that doesn't concern me.

But treating all other animals badly should be met with harsh consequence, no matter where in the world you are.
