EarthSim... Anyone else interested in this?

Hmm not really my kind of thing really. The yearly subscriptions sounds like that is how they hook you. You forget to end the subscription in time unless its not automatically renewed and they bombard you with emails in the weeks before your subscription ends begging you to re-subscribe to EarthSim?

WOW! Had you swallowed a Cynical Pill before that response :)

The demo looks very well produced and quite interesting/educational.

My only issues are:-
1) How content is going to be added?
2) When your subscription runs out, do you lose access to everything again - just as if you'd never paid?

Bah! I'm getting old. :)

It'll probably update itself like an antivirus does, quietly and in the background and yes your access to things will probably run out if you end your subscription. :)

I noticed this when I was installing the drivers for my new 2900 Pro, but must admit, just thought it was a bit of a gimmick...and didn't even install it......exceptionally cynical.....but still young. ;)

What ATI should be doing with this is 'buying' customer loyalty.ie: - If this application was free to ATI users it would sway future purchases in their favour possibly.
