Easier way to download attachments from Hotmail?

Trying to save a LOT of images from various emails in a hotmail account for some work.

However clicking on the link hotmail provides opens it in a new tab where I can't right click and save the image properly, it wants to save it as an htm file... plus this method is stupidly slow, is there a quicker easier way of doing this?

I could just paste the images into Photoshop and save them but that means I have to rename every single one back to what it was called

maybe forward each email that has pictures in to a better email account, like a gmail or one that uses outlook?
