Easiest virus protection?

Hi all

Just wondering what you would recommend for virus protection? My uncle is not exactly computer literate and needs something that will auto update and be simple to use.

Avast free

Updates automatically and even tells you so!

avg as well, first time you specify connect to the internet and thats it.

when it picks up an internet connection off it goes and displays on screen.

If its out of date the icon near the bottom right turns from multicolour to grey.

NOD32 hasn't asked anything of me after I set it up.

Quite a lot to configure at the start though
