Went out and bought a new hdd for the purposes of having vista64 on its own drive. Problem is however i dont get any option on the bootup as to what starts up, xp will usually start up though if i have the vista disc in the drive vista will start up.

Easier to just partition one drive?

So you have xp on drive 1 and vista on drive 2?

in that case you need to go into the bios to change which drive you boot from in order to change what os you boot.

Thats how i see it, please correct me if i have got something wrong. :)

Thats exactly the solution :) thats why Ive partitioned one 160Gb drive and used the Vista boot manager which is much easier and quicker than going into the bios and changing the boot order..
