First time on a msi mobo, been with asus for a long time and flashing was very easy with those. I have downloaded file (z77 mpower) now what???

Many thanks for your help

The M-flash has been reported to be a bit iffy!
As Stulid said use the MSI forum tool http://forum-en.msi.com/faq/article/how-to-flash-the-bios-successfully
Safest way, have used it myself a couple of times with no problems. I think you will have to register to enable you to download it but, then you have it when ever you need it.
REMEMBER IF IT GOES WRONG YOU COULD END UP WITH A DEAD BOARD!

Hi mate, been a long time since i've used it, but i think you should be able to run the program straight from desktop, i will check.

Did you format the USB stick as FAT32 on default settings... not that it really matters now. :)

I've always used the MSI HQ Forum USB BIOS Flash Tool on my Z68A-GD65 (G3), will give it a go with the Mpower, when I eventually get my new rig up and running.
