A busy weekend for me and my camera!

Following on from Saturday's "natury" shoot, I decided I couldn't hang on to not seeing any Motorsport for any longer, so took myself down Mallory Park for the East Midlands Racing Association bike event.

It was a really good afternoon of racing, even though it was so so cold and I am pleased with the photo's I took - almost 250 in total and really getting the hang of using this new DSLR business.

These are 3 of my favourite from the event, not to bore you with to many as quite a few are similar to this in respect of their position/style etc.

All images are cropped and resized, but apart from that...maybe a little levels done but nothing else.

Comments and critique welcome, I found that at a circuit of similar build to Mallory Park and a lens like the 70-200 will work really well, however when I start going to Silverstone and Donington later in the summer I am definatey going to benefit if I get a 1.4x or 2.x tele I think.

Nice shots TomWilko .

Good old midlands lad like myself :)

IMO you will benefit more with the 1.4x Tele, as it only looses 1 stop

Nice shots mate.

Mallory is such a great track for photography! No fences anywhere! :D

As long as you dont want to sell pictures from it, its all good (the official photg has exclusive rights afaik).

I really like the first shot, but the second shot is a little wonky imo. The third shot is a good'un though.

Whatt CC-age are the bikes???

I believe these were 600cc, however they had all sorts, 125's...sidecars!

Thanks for some really positive feedback, I've not finished playing with the images yet, literally spent minutes on them the other day.
