And they say a TV licence is a waste! Look at the spontanaiety of that! You can't beat a night in watching such great shows, love the recent trend of programs like sex with mum and dad, 14 year old mothers, trannies, etc

I turned it over - there was much better stuff on the other side....pimp my ride, cribs, fresh prince, repeats of friends etc etc. I think eastenders is consistently very good at attracting a large audience and providing reasonable entertainment - which is exactly what it is supposed to do.

I don't tend to watch it, but its far more watchable than the offensive tripe that is Hollyoaks. That programme winds me up and frustrates me. I can't even sit in the same room with it on.

Why have a soap where its impossible to even remotely like any of them?

The ladies don't appeal either. I have a pc for a start.

With Eastenders, its possible to get sucked in from watching one episode, very little background knowledge is required to catch up on whats going on.

I don't usually watch it anymore but I flicked over to it tonight, saw about 3 mins of Dot blathering on and promptly turned over. Sod all on tv tonight except the buzzcocks which I sky plus.
