Easy 3D Programs

Hi guys im looking for some help....I have a school project that i need to do and i would like to do it in 3d so it looks more professional and not just hand drawn. I have heard of Auto CAD e.t.c but i dont know if thats what i need? and if so whats the easiest program to use...also one which isnt very hevy on resources would be good as my laptop is not amazing and im still saving for my desktop pc.

google sketch up. I'm in year 11 atm and go college once a week. My cource requires 3d work and I found that very easy to use

Sketchup is about the only option as it's free, and few cad programs are.

I much prefer solid edge, a stripped down/simplified version of the ugnx suite.

I started out with sketchup, great program to learn 3d. Then went on to cinema 4d.
