What are easy and quick to make for meals, or snacks? I want them to be high in protein really, something that would bulk me up but is healthy. :)

I am thinking more for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the odd snacks here and there.

Tricky to say dude, I guess the guys in the gym rats thread would probably be better qualified to answer.

In terms of stuff that is quite healthy but is high enough in protein to help you bulk up I'd say you'd probably be looking at some for of eggs for breakfast then chicken or fish for your other meals.

Keeping a roast chicken in the fridge is something I'd recommend for quick and healthy meal options that are high in protein. You can get some good deals like 2 for £7 at Asda then just whack one in the oven for 90 mins in the evening and you've got meals sorted for all of the next day.

If you can prep everything in the evening or a day or so before i Tupperware all my meals, cook sweet potato, brown rice, chicken, broccoli and steak a few days in advanced and take it each day for my allocated meals. Couple of minutes in the microwave and you are good to go!

If however you do not have time/facilities only thing can really suggest is Tin tuna or pre-cooked chicken stuff, in wholemeal pitta's with salad

Another vote here for tuna or chicken sarnies in wholemeal bread. Just keep an eye on the salt levels. You can get 4 tins of tuna for £3, so it's a lot 'cheeper' (geddit) than going down the chicken route.

Shallots, prawns, chilli, garlic, fresh chopped tomatoes, creme fraiche, basil, lemon juice with couscous.
Super fast to cook, doesn't store to well though.

Beef stew? Bulk it out with potatoes, lentils, pearl barley, maybe rice.

Not really suitable for breakfast though.

Just pre-prepare some chilli, or some chicken breasts, or cubed meat. Some cous cous or some brown rice. In a tupperware and warm it up, job done. This can be done very cheaply and easily.

I make a big pan of chilli, then divide portions of into ice cream tubs and freeze for other days.

Make a stew or similar curry with plenty of lentils or legumes if going for a veggie option.

Chilli is also good and can be had with many things.

Quick meal i prepare:

Diced Chicken
Diced Onion
2 x Stock cubes
Diced Sweet Potato
Can of mixed bean.

Cook the pots through and at same time cook chicken and onions until cooked through using tea spoon of olive oil. Transfer the pots to the frying pan and add the beans. Stir for 5 mins

Total time 25 minutes

Cool down

You can either eat this cold or warmed up. Handy for work lunch or post work out

:)
