Hi guys i was just wandering if there is a little proggy out there that will help me overclock a bit easier? I know theres ABIT UGURU but i just tried installing the version off my cd but it says it's only for Windows 2000/XP so it doesn't install :(

Thanks!

Ok thanks guys :)
Also one more quick question! All i want is to bump up the cpu from 2.4 to 2.7 atm but will i need to change the voltage etc? I think my stock cooler is big enough aswell!

I just downloaded Orthos and quickly tried it and i was getting...

CPU Speed - 3006MHz

Is this normal or is my cpu actually overclocked like it should be anyway

Thats the thing though, i brought my system from here (OcUK) and it was supposed to be overclocked but every proggy i have used to look at the cpu speed it has always been at 2.4?! Maybe because the cpu is being stressed the overclock kicks in? I haven't tryed to overclock it myself yet but is there any point now?

Thanks :)

Right i have just had a poke around in the BIOS and just thought i would note these few things down!

Frequency: 3006MHZ
External Clock: 334MHZ
CPU Operating Speed: User Define
Multiplier Factor: X9
Estimated New CPU Clock: 3006MHZ

So my CPU is overclocked right?

However i couldnt find any kind of speedstep options of the like?!

Thanks :)

What are you using to measure the speed? Some points of the system don't read the actual speed, just what the chip is at default (for example System in control panel).

Dohh >.<

Do you know any that would show me the actual spped as i tried CPUZ as well and that also showed stock speed?

Thanks :)
