Easy scriopt needed for website stats?

Hi all

I am in need of an easy script I can upload to someones website in order for them to receive weekly/monthly stats.

Does anyone know of a free one that either automatically sends this data or one they can log onto that has been uploaded to the site.

They are pretty computer illiterate so I don't want to give them access to the Cpanel in case they click on something they shouldn't.

Can't you just use google analytics?

Is it running apache? There are some unix shell scripts that can parse the information in the access log and either send it or present it to the user...

awstats are pretty

If you have cpanel you may already have it installed? (or your host may do it for you) Can you not give your peoples the URL for that?
