easy to use basic web design software any suggestions?

for a non techie person and not a complex site jsut basic static pages..

they are currently using frontpage whats the updated version like? is there anything better?

currently they dont have a very professional looking site, so if they had to start again its not really an issue.

Do you require a WSYWIG editor, or are you editing the HTML directly?

If the latter then I actually like NetBeans :-O

i must be something someone who does not know about IT can use so a text editor is not any good! nice and graphical is what we need...
