if you no what im doing rong please tell me

a lot of reports last few weeks about faulty Geil ram ( most of the time one of the 2 modules) , try it with just 1 one of the 2 modules ( test both, just one at a time)
So far i haven't heard of any poor clocking core2duo's , and i'd be amazed if there were any poor clocking c2d's...

Also, have you turned off all the standard rubbish in bios?
( c1e, eist(speedstep), etc...)
As you should always start oc-ing from bios, then once everything is set ( timings, bios settings, etc...) you can continue with easytune, but bios offers much more settings...
Have you tried perhaps adding a notch to the north, and southbridge chips voltage?

drop your vcore down to 1.4 at the most. The geil may well like more vcore to take it above stock levels, try it with 2.2 or 2.3, and also check you ram divider. if its at stock, you may well find its trying to run your ram at 990MHz or higher, make sure its at 2:1 or 2.5:1, and you may well be able to achieve hgiher clocks.

also check the timings on the ram, by pressing ctrl+f1 on the bios screen, and clcok it via the bios, don't bother with easytune. I was able to run my old E6300 at 3.3GHz orthos stable in a DS3, on air, and it would boot into windows at 500fsb, only thing holding it back was the RAM at the time.
