Easy way of creating split zip files on mac

As title, this is very easy on windows with all sorts of zip software, on the mac however I'm hitting brick walls.

I've googled a lot, and there is command line ways but apparently dubious - I've also tried unarchiver, winzip mac edition and others to find an easy to use GUI to split zip files into a size of choice (this was easy with winrar), but i've looked on all mac editions and none seem to do it - or i can't find the option to in the menus.

Am I missing something obvious ? How do you guys do it ?

I use Entropy. Works very well.

I just use split on Linux

split -b 512m <file>

I would have suggested 7zip as it's my go-to program on Windows but there is no Mac version. However, the site recommends Keka and it would seem to do what you want.
