easy ways to chat refresh rate?

is there an easy way to change refresh rate on a laptop when on battery vs on charge.
my laptop as a 240hz screen and when plugged in and gaming this is good, but when on battery a 240hz screen use's about 40% more power than a 60hz screen

is there an easy way to switch between the 2, like linking to a power profile or setting up a shortcut key?
