If you come to re install a local printer how do you stop Win7 from making it a copy 1 if the USB ports are the same and you have removed the original printer from the print server option.
I always seem to end up with a copy 1 and have to rename it or the original printer along with the Copy 1 is showing when you right click properties, I am aware its installing on the same port but how do I stop it without having to move the USB port etc.
Simple I know but I am stuck ...
