Easy? Yet VERY annoying problem

Hey,

I have a 50" plasma and i jus purchased a wii, i have got it turned on and the remote is synced.

I then goto the 'confirm language' and i just cant get my pointer to show on the screen.

I have tried the sensor bar on top of TV and below, with and without stand and no luck.

I then sat to the far right on the sofa an moved my hand right up an the pointer flew across....tried that again an nothing.

I have read all the guides and i seem to be doing everything it says, any ideas? Im using only the supplied Wii cables via scart.

If you are aiming the end of the wiimote directly at the sensor bar front, and it's plugged into the wii, then you may have a duffer...

Look directly down the wiimote to make sure you are 'sighting' it correctly.. (just make sure no one is around to see you!! ) and that the sensor bar is facing forwards/plugged into the Wii.. and do this from about 4-6 feet away, too close and it's too sensitive sometimes.. too far and ditto..


It does sound like it's faulty though!
