EasyBits Go Skype Games...

Randomly on my screen, running/installed without so much as me installing it or being prompted.

Seems to of come through Skype or wants to use it, did a google but not much, a skype forum thread literally 30 minutes ago with people asking the same thing.

Running scans now but anyone else got it?

Installs itself to C:\ProgramData and runs as part of skypePM.exe and its own process of easybitsgo.exe

It's installed on mine too.

Just noticed it on my system - quite offended the way it snuck on, so prpmtly removed it and disabled the option in skype.

I may ditch skype altogether now, who do they think they are?

I thought this was something dodgy. Looked into add remove, removed it. The icon disappeared but it still remained in app data, so i deleted it all from there

I did a quick Google, apparently you have to remove some registry entries aswell, which is appalling... I remember when Skype prompted me to install something, so I just clicked it off, next day I notice this rouge app on my task bar... grrrr
