Have been getting bsod on this laptop for a while. Formatted hd with intention to do a fresh install, but install crashes at 1% everytime, with more bsod.
Think its a memory issue but unfortunately the 256 it has is onboard(un-removeable). If i put more memory into the empty slot for expansion, can the onboard memory be disabled? I had a brief look through BIOS and couln't see anything. There is jumpers beside the memory slot but cant find anywhere that tells me what they do.
Or is it the end of the road for the laptop??
