Easytune or tat for temp what to trust?

On my conroe 6600 build using tat idle temps are 52c easytune its 34c iam using sythe ninga fan on max which do i trust?

on stock voltage @ 2.5ghz

TAT reads its temps direct from the cores, so gives u actual core temps so is more reliable. your temps look a little high for idle, im running my e6600 at 3.2 with 1.4 vcore and it idles at around 35c according to tat. U might want to try reseating using some as5 might drop it by a few degrees

TAT and core temp both read the same temps on my board.

Yeah EasyTune only reads the socket temp, not the actual cores as far as i know, according to EasyTune and the BIOS, my E6600 idles at about 29-32, and core-temp reports my actual cores idling at 40-41, using a Freezer 7 pro on 50% speed, so id say that 52c is a bit high for the cores, mines still at stock btw.
