So i'm searching around my desktop looking for something to do while it scans and i find a racing wheel icon called et6. Hoping to relive the good old days of racing on pc with games like monster truck madness i click on it. Turns out to be like cpu-z and that on the gpu section it has options to increase the core/memory/shaders. I have no interest in oc the gpu now but in the future i may do and i was wondering is it safe to use software to overclock a graphics card?

Cheers

Software is fine. A lot, if not all people on here will recommend MSI AfterBurner for overclocking a GPU. What card are you currently using?

Just use MSI AfterBurner though, but dont use silly settings. Best to look around to see what people have managed to clock theirs too, atleast then you know what limits are on the card.
