Eating in Oxford?!

HELP please

My dads over for the weekend and i'm trying to choose somewhere to eat that has a good range of food, and isn't too expensive, there are loads of places i know, but which one should we go to?

We're just after decent pub food really, you know, god hearty traditional meals, possibly a steak!

I would check out Byron burgers on George St.

In the afternoon I would always recommend the Nose Bag on St Michaels street.
Mission burrito is good.
Pub wise the Fishes in Hinksey is good but a little more expensive.
But the town centre pubs are generally average. The Turf Tavern or Kings Arms are always lively and decent.

Cheers guys, it was all a bit badly planned!

We ended up going to Jamie's Italian which was nice, but not what I had in mind and I felt woefully under-dressed

I suggested the Byron, but he didn't like the sound of burgers!
Mission Burrito was a good shout...love it there.

Have you checked out the Greek cafe in Jericho which does some awesome wraps full of hummus, salad, and meat?
