EATX PSU?

It's an Antec 520W Truepower so I guess I could. The problem is it is 5.30PM on a Saturday so I'm not overly optimistic about getting one tonight.

Shame too, got an L627B here waiting to be oc'd.

You might not even need a convertor. I've been running a 20pin PSU on a 24pin motherboard for a year and it works perfectly.

paradox is right you might not need it, i know a mate who runs a msi mobo on just 20 pins out of 24, however it might not be best if you want to overclock etc, the mobo is designed to run on power from 24 pins + 12 v extra power after all...

But its worth a try anyhow :)

Thanks for the input fellas but I was lucky enough to catch a local place open so bought another one. Plus, I saw this on another site:

20 to 24pin Power Supply Converter FAQs:
Q) What voltages do these adapters take across from the PSU? - Neil Maudhub
A) 3.3, 5 and 12 volt as is standard on ATX power supplies

Q) Will this lead work from a ATX 2.0 20 pin + 4 pin into a 24 pin + 4 pin, to motherboard (8 Phase power design)? - Dean
A) No.

It's the P5B Deluxe I've got and knowing my luck, it woulda cooked itself with anything other than 100% pro components :P
No PC over christmas I woulda been tres unhappy.
