EAX sound effects for onboard cards

Hi there.

My friend has a onboard soundcard and i have been telling him about my audigy 2 zs creative media player. With the eax on and selected advanced eq / rock setting it makes sound really nice for music. So he got the creative media player but its lacking the eax button and equalizer. Just woundering if you have any ideas if he can get what i can get to work. Long shot but his onboard sound has eax i think so should be possible to get something eax going on for his music.

His sound setup is

Realtek ALC882 8-ch High-Definition Audio CODEC
Jack Sensing and Enumeration
Universal Audio Jack
S/PDIF out interface

His soundcard will have up to a maximum of EAX2, the app might either use a higher version, or more likely Creative don't want people using their software on other cards.
