I just made my 2nd sale on eBay, never really sold anything before on there. The buyer is asking me to wait a week before posting, and doesn't seem to have paid yet.

What should I do? I was going to say something along the lines of "That's ok, but you need to pay now". Does this seem like a scam?

Edit: asked him why he wants delayed postage and he says that he's on holiday and back on the 19th...

I've asked for delayed postage in the past due to holiday actually, providing he pays then I don't see a problem?

Turns out he was genuine and paid when I asked - I said I would give him 2 days to pay which is what eBay recommends, and he paid straight away.

I suppose this is just my inexperience with selling on eBay that made me think not paid = scam haha.

On a related note, I checked the tracking for the other item I sold a few days ago, and apparently it has been signed for by someone with the same name as me . Probably just a coincidence but that had me worried for a moment, like he would try and say he sent it back to me and wants a refund (probably not).

Edit: So I got £40 for a GTX 660 and £28.50 for 8GB DDR3 RAM (Corsair Vengeance) - do those seem like reasonable prices or was I ripped off? I paid postage myself, hoping the free postage would attract bidders, and started them both at 99p with no reserve.

That is a huge coincidence but there's normally an address along with the signature, worry if it's your address.
