Ebay confirm collection code?

Hi guys, so I have just sold something and the guy came to collect. I went on app after just to see this confirm collection code thing. When did this actually start and will I still get paid? :S

He paid online :S, it is not too much money but will eBay release the payment into my bank account. Ahh I should have also said cash on collection like I did last time. Guess I will have to wait and see if it comes in.

Funny how this keeps cropping up recently! I dont think it has anything to do with receiving your payment. He should have scanned it (or vice versa) which proves to eBay that he collected the goods. Since he hasn't, he feasibly could turn around and say he never collected (or you didn't show) and claim his money back.

It's there for you to prove he collected the goods, that's all.

Yeah oh well, I see the funds there but will have to wait and see if it goes to the bank in next few days. Thankfully it is only £20 lol but still money is money
