I put my phone on ebay and it went up normally bids came in and it got to £200 and then 2 brand new user's registered today started bidding and put the price up to £1,353.00.

Ebay fees for that are £35! which i DONT HAVE!

ive sent a 2nd chance offer to a *safe* bidder who has 40 feedback,

so. is there any way i can claim my money back.. and how long is it goign to take.. and what happens if someone doesnt take the 2nd chance offer im going to have £40+ in fees to pay and i dont have the money to do it..

(not happy)

go to the ebay community forums and ask how to get them removed from ebay and how to get your money back.

when i sold phones on ebay i setup a BIN with instant paypal payment required and sold 2 succesfully without a scam

went to the community and reported the users/ which were registered TODAY for the sole purpose of ****** with my auction!

how long do these things normally take?

they came in under a minute left and i didnt have time to remove them

File a NPB (non paying bidder) report and you will get all your fees back.
Have to wait 7 Days i think before i can do that

going to relist and make it buy it now with immediate paypal payment.. UK bidders only too,.. just to cover my back..

i hate when people do this... puts me off using the site.

If you know how to set your permitted bidder settings then you shouldn't have too many problems. If ebay was too restrictive then we wouldn't get any bidders. When you sell online, whether as an auction seller or as an online company, timewasters and fraudsters is an unavoidable risk. ebay does let you claim your fees back so don't sweat it :)

well ive relisted as paypal only, uk only, immediate payment.. if it doesnt sell then im just gonna keep the stupid thing! use it as a calculator or something

Happened to my boss the other day too... Had his phone for sale, had normal bidders but then right at the end someone bidded with a much higher amount and won it. Although stated in the auction "Will only ship to UK, Only UK Bidders etc" He got an email shortly after (Literally seconds) Asking if he would ship to... Wait for it... Her husband in Nigeria... He automatically filed a grievance with Ebay and they have removed the user and the auction so no fees are payable. But he still had to totally redo the auction and was unable to do the second chance.

Rather than open a new thread thought I would post in here:

Someone won something from me on Tuesday. They have very good feedback, I have sent them the invoice, and a reminder to pay yesterday and still not heard anything. When do I report to ebay?
