I will not accept £10 going down the toilet.

Well, email back and ask them to send payment. If you do actually receive legit POs, then sure cash them in, but can you even buy POs from another country that are cashable in the UK?

What is this Nigeria scam? I see it almost on a daily basis about posting to Nigeria and how its a scam, etc

lol at the whats 419 pic :S Interesting read, but I still dont understand how this relates to an ebay seller. Example: An Ipod being sold, the seller says "WILL NOT DELIVER TO NIGERIA IF YOU BID IT WILL BE CANCELLED" and so on, or is this just to avoid the country for some reason?

I think it's because Nigeria is involved in a lot of scams, not just the "give me your bank details and I'll let you keep some of this £20m" ones. There's also the dodgy cheque for lots more than the selling price scam, or the paypal-and-claim-it-never-arrived one, when he gets a refund off paypal and keeps the money and the goods.

The fact is they will claim they are legit and send you a legit link to enter your tracking number in, it just a spoof site. My mate did it and he lost £110 phone, the Royal Mail wont accept lost of it as its still saying its in transit 3 months after.

And getting your money back of Paypal will take a few months.
