Yes another eBay thread :p

There is an item that I want to buy and it's signifcantly cheaper on ze German eBay. I just wanted to confirm that I won't get slapped with a customs charge?

The item is about £125. Pair of speakers

I take it you don't fully understand the concept of the EU ;)

Well I do but it's my first time buying an item within the EU. I've bought from Taiwan and China and the charges are quite high. Specially when DHL decide to add around £14 as their "admin" fee.

Better be safe :p

No charges like that within the EU. I've bought stuff through eg. the German Amazon website for the same reason.

Thank you!

I think youre pretty safe as long as you avoid buying the German gold with no markings on, that may be taken back at some point....... :D

There's quite a few things on German eBay which are cheaper than in the UK. Wheel spacers for my car for example are around 50% cheaper on there!

Yep they're actually car speakers to be exact. £124 from Germany but £250 from UK sellers. Quite baffling.

Hopefully the real things turns up and I don't end up with cardboard speakers of some sort :D
