ebay giving away free insurance for car purchases

Sounds very good indeed. I agree with paradigm though I don't think I would buy a car from ebay unless it was a really good deal and I saw the car first.
 
Brilliant business plan, may well give them an edge over the likes of autotrader.com etc.

thats a very good reason to use ebay over somebody like auto trader

better than a free mug or something.
 
This does sound like a good idea, and to be fair the only car Ive bought off ebay has been the one car thats actually been reliable so far!

Cant help but think there must be some dodgy loopholes somewhere though!
 
A lot of places seem to be doing this now, I got it when I bought my fiesta, and when I went for a test drive Honda started doing it too and they didn't have it a year ago. As they give you a quote when you try and get the cover I reckon a lot of people will take it up to save them hassle, even though it might not be the cheapest option!
