Hey,

Sold my first item the other day, someone bid on it but it didnt sell. I've just had this email from ebay.

Dear ***********,

Your monthly eBay invoice for the period from February 16, 2010 through March 15, 2010 is now available to view online.


Amount Due: £13.65

You have set up PayPal as your automatic payment method. Your invoice amount will be automatically deducted from your PayPal account no sooner than 10 days after the invoice date. The amount deducted may vary based on recent payments or credits.

To view your invoice:
1. Go to http://www.ebay.co.uk and click "My eBay" at the top of most eBay pages. You will need to sign in.
2. Click the "Seller Account" link (underneath "My Account" on the left of the page).
3. Click the "View invoices" link, then select the invoice you want to view from the drop-down menu.

Remember: eBay will not ask you for sensitive personal information (such as your password, credit card, bank account numbers, National Insurance numbers, identity numbers etc.) in an email.

I take it this is the selling fee (item would have been £130 or so). How do I go about getting this cancelled? Is there a button somewhere to press if something isn't sold? Or shall I just send them an email and have a moan?

I've got an email from the guy that refused to pay.

I'm not too sure but I believe you have to pay the listing fees on unsold items.

Sounds like the item *did* sell, but the buyer doesn't want to pay.

In which case send a copy of his email saying so to Ebay - and have the final value fee refunded.

I thought it was that you still have to pay for the listing but re-listing is then free?

I could be totally wrong though.
