ebay / paypal possible PP hacked

I sold something on ebay a few days ago, buyer paid last night
had an email from ebay yesterday saying buyer paid

checked ebay on my phone, all ok during work

sent item today after work

come home, check ebay on my computer and it says buyer initiated payment (but not paid)

went to paypal, cant log in

email address no longer exists

so had to cancel debit card

no idea whats going on there

item was only 99p

couldn't find number to call them on their website, googled it instead, and i found it that way, called them and they close at 6:30
cant even contact their fraud department :rolleyes:

spam folder is empty, i have had zero emails from paypal

2FA was not enabled

Thanks Pho, reminds me of my other thread about a scammer was wanted a few grand off me, because he knew my password, ive started changing all my details, new email address, new passwords

thats why i think its hacked, new email address and password

i remember my amazon account was hacked, same thing more or less

I feel stupid now

After my Password / Email account scare i had
i got a new email account and changed my PayPal to the new one :rolleyes:

im not sure whats going on, but i got the buyer to send me like 10p direct to my pp address
no email from paypal to let me know ive received funds, but i checked my account and its there ok

i have checked my old account, my new accounts email folders (ive put it to ALL) , checked SPAM folders too, nothing from Paypal

ive logged into paypal and it says 2 email address on file to security or something, but i can only see one showing, my new one
