Why is nobody bidding on THIS ITEM?

I need to get a changer like this but nobody is bidding on it? Any reason why? IS it because the seller has zero selling history?

I'm unsure on whether to put a bid in or not as I'm new to all this :/

Looks ok to me, postage is a little high for the special delivery and with low feedback I suppose some people may think they have no come back if the item is never sent as the standard delivery probibly won't be recorded. But for the saveing of about £60-£80(?) it seems like a risk worth takeing.

Everyones new once.

Happens sometimes with perfectly ok items.

In fact I bought something yesterday for £2.50 on ebay (and was the only bidder) that normally would fetch £10+.

Neither can I. Most changer seem to go for around £80+ but this one is just sitting there with zero bids. Just wondered if I was missing something.

Can't see any reason myself. His feedback is a bit strange, apprently he doesn't leave you feedback, and the two latest ones are exactly the same.

Same here, bought a brand new pair of unwanted levi jeans which cost around £45 for £10(+p+p).

Looks OK. 50% of his feedback consists of items worth 99p which may put some people off but it looks fine to me.

Thats what i spotted seems strange seeing as its different people

Also most of his feedback is for things that cost him very little

maybe most 3 series owners who have the head unit that controls it already have that changer fitted to their car.

Checked the notes and the two sellers seem to leave similar messages for other people so just a coincidence I think.

"It was fully working in my old car".

Normally I wouldn't be suspicious but the wording of this almost suggests 'but no guarantees it still is'. Personally I wouldn't bid on it, but that's only because if I was the seller I'd put as much info as possible regarding make, model, a fuller explanation etc. Could be there's nothing wrong with it but because he/she's a fairly new ebayer and hasn't made the effort with the ad it looks slightly dodge.

Looks fine.
I wouldn't think anything of the follow-up feedback from that guy - it seems he is the bad seller going by his feedback rather than the seller for this item :)

I did notice that too. Nothing says it is still in full working order :/ Maybe if I drop him a mail in a tick and straight out ask? If it then turns up knackered I can give him some stick :)

It's probably fine. I would think there is only a small market for something like that, plus ebay items often don't get a single bid until the last minute, when there could be several.

Well that's another thing. There are quite a few changers on there. I've got around 20 odd in my watch list at the moment. But this seems to be one of the only ones with no bids, especially odd considering ther's not long till closing. I think I'll take a look at it when I get home from footy tonight and see what's happening. If it's still low then I'll pop a bid in. It'll be worth a £20-30 risk :)

Ive been ebaying for years and quite often I've had no bids on items 'til the last hour of the auction then a quick bidding frenzy 'til it finishes.

The auction itself looks ok but there's always the chance that the unit won't work, but thats the chance you take when buying on ebay.

The low feedback will put some people off. If you pay by credit card via PayPal then you should be able to claim the money back from your credit card company if there's a problem.

OK, cheers people :)

I know that the bids can go crazy in the last minutes so I'll keep an eye on it when I get home tonight :)
