I bought an item from ebay which I returned, the seller claims it was damaged in the post.

While waiting for the insurance claim the seller escalated to ebay to make a decision. Ebay found in my favour and refunded me the money, this then prompted the seller to start sending me threats that he was going to come round to collect the money I stole off him

After 2 days of these emails I get an email from him saying that ebay have reversed the decision and that he has the money back in his account. I have checked my paypal and ebay but I cannot see anything from them and I haven't been debited any money.

Do you think
a) he is chatting rubbish (wouldn't be the first time in my dealings with him he has lied)
b) ebay has refunded us both and will take the hit for it
c) I am going to soon be debited

Thanks

Thanks

I've already forwarded the emails to ebay, I have told him I will forward anymore to both his ISP and the police.

The whole thing about him getting a reversal has confused me though, I don't see why he would say this (unless he has realised he is in the wrong and backing down without losing face). Just worried that I will look in my account soon and see the money has gone. Do ebay ever refund both parties??
