A guy has purchased something from me, but asks if i can despatch it to his work address since he forgot to update his paypal. Should i trust this? Is this a possible scam?

How can it be a scam? He's asked you to do so, and like you say his work address is in Kent, no problem.

Also, in case it where a scam, you have the email to prove you posted it to the place the seller stated. Checking his feedback as a buyer is pointless, you can't give a buyer negative feedback.

One of paypals seller guides is to only post to confirmed address. If anything was to happen then they would not compensate you as you had not followed the paypal guide.

if sent using rmrd it will only show as delivered in kent anyway wouldnt it or is it the town it says?

That made me laugh. That had to come from someone on here. I think if it's a UK address your OK. Just make sure the funds are transfered.

On that note, I remember asking someone to send it to my work address because I wasn't available at home to pick it up.

there's been many occasions where i've asked for items to be delivered to work, it garauntees i'll be there to collect as opposed to having to go and collect at stupid time slots... give the work address a ring, see if he's known there!
