Ebay reserve price

I have listed a car on ebay, I can't seem to be able to lower the reserve as it ends in 3 hours time, if it doesnt meet the reserve price, can I sell it anyway?

You can do a "second chance offer" to anyone who has bid on the car if it doesn't meet it's reserve price, and you will still get the standard "protection" you would have gained through selling via Ebay, too

Why can I lower the reserve, everywhere on ebay its written that you can remove it at any time!

Providing there are no bids and there is more than 12 hours left on the auction perhaps?

you can lower it even with bids, but you cant in the last 12 hours (well my mate couldnt!)

2nd chance offer will be to the highest showing bid, this might not be the bidders highest bid tho.
