Ebay UK is offline ,so is USA & India so what's happening ?

All my websites load except several Ebay sites, other on the net are saying the same

I'm on Virgin so how come it's seemingly only us affected?

I have links to six worldwide Ebay sites & all are failing to load so presumably it's the initial UK part of the connection preventing all the others
