OK. So I purchased Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 9 from a guy on eBay. Got them yesterday, tried all the discs today and found Final Fantasy 9 Disc 1 was defective. I messaged the dude, he said no worries, send it back and he shall refund 33% of the bid and the postage to get a new one.

It's not all doom and gloom on eBay. Just posting a thread showing there are good people out there, and surprisingly, this seller is Scottish...shocked me him being so nice...

There are plenty of good sellers on ebay aye, tbh my experience of returning goods to sellers on ebay has generally been better than my experience of returning good to etailers. :\

this

its when you sell things on ebay you get royaly shafted bu conmen

Considering that FF7 > 8/9 by a long shot, I would have placed ratios of 70 : 15 : 15 for FF7, FF8, FF9 respectively.

I think you did well to get 33% back for one of the inferior games :-)

You got lucky, FF9 is a terribly overrated game, spend the rest on a better PS1 rpg ;)

My businesses are based on eBay, if anyone has a problem I'll always do my best to sort it out for them. Recent events include:
- Spending an hour on the phone helping someone with an issue that wasn't really with the item
- Doing a home visit FOC to help someone set a laptop up I'd sold

It's the bad sellers that ruin it for the rest of us.

Hahaha - shouldnt of laughed... but i did :(

I am serious. Every Scots man I have met has been an angry whisky drinking, English hating, skirt wearing odd job...

This seller is refunding me postage as well...what a champ...

*looks at passport*
  • Angry - Sometimes
  • Whisky Drinking - Mmmmmm whisky
  • English hating - Nope.
  • Skirt wearing - Nope.

That's some awful stereotyping right there...

I get my trainers off the same dude on Ebay.
First time I ordered off him he sent me 2 pairs of womens size 4's when I am a male with size 14 feet. Look on her face when she got my size 14's must have been funny. :p
Dude emailed me & apologised sorted the problem out & sent me a 3rd pair for Nowt.

There are loads of decent sellers/buyers on ebay you just have to learn how to recognise them.

Indeed...Sorry.

How many Scotsmen have you met?

A few, and they all sound like there having there balls rubbed with a warm leather...or was that just Al Murrey doing a sketch? :D

I'll be meeting a very famous Scottish guy on 12th July in Liverpool, a very racist and funny guy. Maybe not all Scottish are bad...
