Ecclestone: No room for FOTA in F1

Interestingly, the teams have also been told to move their truck cabs out of the paddock.

It's probably all down to stumpy getting the teams attention over the pit lane sponsorship after his rant a few weeks ago about the teams putting up hoardings in the garages that have sponsorship on. He says the teams aren't allowed to do that - they can only sell sponsorship on the cars and clothing.

The truck cabs have too much sponsorship on them that Bernie doesn't get paid for - therefore they can't be there. Whats next? When the cars aren't on the track they have to be covered with a Santander car cover? Available exclusively from BEEnterprises?

See if you can guess what negotiation starts soon? Concorde Agreement for 2013...

It's not Bernie moaning about the team's sponsorship, it's the tracks who are because they make a lot of their money back with the advertising around the circuit. That article is two totally unrelated stories. Still, nothing beats an uniformed Ecclestone bash does it. :D

Officially it's between Allsport and the teams. Not the tracks themselves.

And Allsport is owned by...
...The Formula One Group

;)
