Echo Dot / Alexa question

I've recently bought two Amazon Echo Dots 3rd gen and have configured them both on my home network. When I set the first one up the Echo Dot offered to remember my voice so it could detect it was me who was talking. I want to do the same with two other people in the household so that we can each have individual voice accounts with Alexa, but I'm not sure how to do this. Can anyone who uses Alexa let me know how to configure it? I have the app installed on my Android phone.

They'd need seperate account more than likely.

Either way, depending on the proximity of the others they will still hear other people's voices

I don't recall my Dot asking to learn my voice. It works for everyone in the house, although it's not used all that much (we have Sonos, with Alexa, throughout downstairs - the Dot floats around upstairs)

Mine didn't either, although it would be handy as the missus has different things and I always have to switch it back to my account after she's been using it.

Why is the account being actively switched? You can share a counts iirc, at least you can share kindle books etc

She pays the Prime sub so has Prime Music on her account which doesn't share on Amazon Household. We also have things like Plex and Hue which she hasn't set up in her app so has to switch to mine to use.

So set them up, simple ;)

You'd think so, but she only had a GS5 and didn't have any space on the phone to install new apps. I've just got her a new phone but to set up Hue I need to go into the loft and push the bridge. It's easier just to switch accounts until I have a reason to go in the loft when she's home as well!
