Echo + Spotify Issue

Ok guys, wondering if anyone else has this issue, it's really hard to find info on the net about it as there are so many different issues out there around echos and streaming.

Anyway, have a few echos, Spotify premium and linked them together... All works good except every so often songs kinda stop playing and then resume a second later. Seems like it might be having a split second buffer. Well this does my frigging head in, I have good links 70 down 20ish up so that isn't and issue and it happens even when the echo is right next it my router so shouldn't even be a WiFi issue.

Now I have subbed to Apple music and tested Amazon music with no issue at all, checked through all settings available on Spotify but just can't seem to nail it down. Running blue tooth off my phone works fine but then defeats the purpose of having the accounts linked ect.

Anyway, that my problem, any ideas guys?

I've had this a few times and had it where I've asked for music and it's played on a different echo. Had to use the Alexa app to sort a few times

Yes had this happen too, slightly different issue but yes fixed by forcing the song onto the correct echo.

Should have said this "buffering" issue happens both when asking Alexa to play or using the Spotify app to play music on an echo device.

Same here - streaming from Amazon Music is fine, but Spotify will sometimes pause.
Still better than my Roberts Stream radio, where it will suddenly stop playing Spotify altogether!
