Eclipse Internet - Why would anyone use the "Home" package rather than "Evolution"?

Eclipse internet has two different types of packages "Home" and "Evolution"...

Home has set download limits per month, but Evolution has set download limits just during peak times (6-12pm)

Evoution (downloads only count between 6-12pm)
Option 1 - 20Gb - £14.99
Option 2 - 30Gb - £18.99
Option 3 - 40Gb - £24.99
Option 4 - 50Gb - £29.99

Home (downloads count at any time)
Option 1 - 2Gb - £14.99
Option 2 - 10Gb - £18.99
Option 3 - 20Gb - £24.99
Option 4 - 40Gb - £29.99

The "Evolution" download limits are HIGHER and are seemingly only considered for 1/4 of the day. The other 3/4s are not put towards your limit...!?

This makes no sense so why would ANYONE go for the "Home" package?

The only thing I can think of is if you want to download at top speeds during peak periods as all the Home packages are at the top priority. The £29.99 one makes no sense at all though as they're both at the same priority!

Well I would imagine no matter what package, the options are the "priority". ie: Evolution 2 would get preference over Home 1... (They are paying more!)

No, the order of priority goes (lowest to highest):

Evolution Option 1
Evolution Option 2
Evolution Option 3
Evolution Option 4 = Home Broadband 1/2/3/4

It's because the Home service has no traffic shaping, but the Evo product does.
That's the idea. I imagine when it gets very busy it has a mild amount of shaping applied, but as I said I would think that Home has priority over all Evolution users.

How do you know this?
Can't speak for Phil, but it says on their site that Home is 'Max speed all day, everyday' and it says for Evolution 'Fast speeds' and 'Choice of performance levels'.

I'd've thought it was a fairly logical conclusion that Home has little or no traffic shaping applied.
