Anyone out there with this combo? The slide out motherboard tray is beautiful, except when you come to put it back in with this monster of a cooler fitted. It wont go! What a nightmare trying to mount it with the motherboard tray in the case. If anyone has had any success please tell me how as I would love to know.

yea thats what I had to do in the end, even in such a big case there is still not a lot of room to work in with the heatsink being so close to the psu/back of the case etc. Its installed now but I was wondering if there was a trick to getting it in with the tray out. Nevermind!

Quite happy with the temps although Im not sure about my cpu or something. Coretemp says Core0 is a happy 25C at idle, but Core1 is 32C. To me thats a big difference in temp. I thought maybe the IHS (its an opty 164) wasnt making great contact with the one core but I dont know if they are two seperate cores or if they are within the same die. So yea, core0 is great temps, core1 could use some work but Im not about to remove the IHS so Ill live :p

hehe it just dawned on me its probably got more to do with my mobo and its socket orientation more than the case. Silly me, sorry guys!

Its an Asus A8N32-SLi Deluxe with an Opty 165. IF anyone else is looking into a combination like this, just dont mount the thing with the motherboard tray out. Save yourself some work! :p

It has to do (im assuming) with the positioning of the cpu socket on my mobo. The Eclipse/Mirage has a "cutaway" section at the back that you can see is designed for tall heatsinks, but with the tuniq fitted the tuniq is about 2cm too far over to slide the mainboard tray back in. if my cpu socket was moved closer to the psu by about 2cm it would fit in no problem. Hope I explained it properly, I am going to be doing some cable management this weekend so I can take pics of what I mean if you want to see.

While on the subject of this case, does anyone else feel that its an incredible build quality except for the thumbscrews? I have 2 thumbscrews (bottom hdd bracket and mainboard tray) that have just "snapped" while screwing themback in and now I cant get another one in as the old one is snapped off inside. I dont have any tools in order to drill out the old one either. Any ideas? Id love to RMA the thing as I think its Akasa's fault for providing bunk thumbscrews but I dont know how far I would get, they would probably try and lay the blame on me somehow. What do you think?
