Just wondered how good an Eclipse can look if sprayed a more interesting colour, and if anyone has seen one modded a little more heavily than just a side-panel etc.
Is there room for a backlit fan in the top? Maybe a row of three for mounting a rad in the future?
Im thinking of buying a case to spray and mod slightly ready to build a second system at some point (when I get a job).
I'd like to have the case black inside (I know the Eclipse comes back but I would do the mobo tray ect aswell) and purhaps have the outside a nice green. I know green sounds nasty but if its the right shade I think it could potentially look very nice. Sort of Lamborghini Green.
I'd like to cut my own side window and have some sort of machined logo done for the side, to be sprayed black and mounted on spacers to layer the metal up slightly.
Just would really like to get your opinion on this sort of a project, and whether or not an Eclipse is a good base?
