eclipse: router sync taking ages

i have a Speedtouch 530 asdl router and for the past few days it's been taking 2-3 mins to sync, instead of 30-60 secs.....is it my 3 year old modem or isp at fault ?
it's just that i've been thinking of upgrading from my old Flex package and with this prob,small i know, i was pausing on making my decision to upgrade from my current package.
am i worrying over nowt ?

could be router, could be the cable, could be the exchange, could be your ISP.
eclipse are fine here tbh.

I have the same problem... but mine syncs and then disconnects once a day

I wouldn't worry about it, I moved from eclipse to UKonline and it now takes longer to sync, doesn't cause any more problems once connected.
