Eclipse62-Floppy Drive Cage to house Hard Drives?

hey guys, would you say its safe to mount 2 hard drives into the floppy drive cage, as im wanting to improve airflow inside the case, so the front 120mm isnt fighting against the real hard drive cage and hard drives

the HD are a 74gb Raptor and a 250WD

what do you guys think?

I dont see it being a problem. I've done it on my globalwin 802, which has the same frame as the eclipse.

I'd suggest asking this in the HDD forum, theyd have a better idea of how the heat output would affect this.

Or the cases people have tried it aswell.

36gb raptors, in the floppy bays of an old school PC7 for 8 months now perfectly fine.

See no issue at all in it.

right well ive done it, and speedfan is detecting both hard drives to be at 30C.....so hasnt made much of a difference really.......also ive done a heck of a lot of modding to the case, which i will make a new thread for, just to show what ive done.

I have been using the floppy bays for my hard drive since I got this case. About 18 months now. I am only using 1 hard drive mind you (a 74GB raptor in a silentmaxx enclosure).
