Eco madness!

lol..

I drive a Range Rover and a Porsche Cayenne Turbo, I’ll be parked on Cadogan Place all day tomorrow, if you could make sure you put your silly badges on both my front and rear numberplates please as they are extremely useful for avoiding the congestion charge and also speed cameras.

Thanks v much, keep up the good work.

I do hope that the factory that produces the stickers for print is carbon neutral, and the vehicles that the employees of the factory all cycle to work? I guess they deliver the materials to the printers in hand carts, and of course, I’m sure that the printers uses eco-friendly inks and also produces no CO2 in it’s printing and delivery of said stickers.

Then lets not forget the computers used to generate and host this site…

Every single computer requires about 1.8 tonnes of chemicals, fossil fuels and water for its manufacture.

The emissions by computers account for 2 per cent of world’s total carbon dioxide emissions, almost equal to that contributed by aviation.

The vast majority of 4×4 owners buy these vehicles as a status symbol, rather than because of need. To those status-seekers we would say please do not feel victimised by our re-plating. We suggest you do what everyone else will do when they see your plate – have a laugh at yourself and at your need to assert your confidence on the open road and then get out of your vehicle and join a lower carbon world.
That is quite funny though. Most 4x4 drivers think they're 'all that' when they're trying to intimidate you on the road but when you get out and go to drag them out their car they're never as big and hard as they act :D

Makes their intentions clear though... to have a pop at 4x4 drivers without looking at the facts.

Would anyone else be annoyed if some eco idiot stuck a massive sticker on their car?

I would fume.

Id call the police to report vandalism tbh.

Firstly the are no "SUV's" in the UK, its American for 4x4. Secondly the car in pic 2 is a diesel. And finally how much effect will those people trading in for a Prius (1/3 the CO2) have on mankind's 3% contribution to global warming? especially considering no link has yet been proven between it and climate change.

They have just as much right to be in that car as you do in yours. After all, they pay more for the vehicle, more for the fuel, more for the tax etc. so quite how the hippies think it's right to push their crap on others is beyond me.

It's quite funny really, I'm not a huge fan of the message it's one sided and blinkered but as a form of protest it's origional, humourous and harmless.

What happens on the day you try to out hard someone who actually is hard and smacks your silly smug face up and down the road? :p

This comment is equally excellent:

"I find it funny that getting the “trolls” angry makes some people excited, it’s kind of ironic, because I find it hilarious how mis-informed about climate change you people really are. If you honestly think that getting 4×4’s of the road will stop global warming then fine. I don’t, and so as the water levels rise you’ll find me at the top of the hill (that I’ll have driven up), laughing as you frantically try and patch up the planet with stickers."
